What is ClayHog?

ClayHog is a platform for tracking and optimizing your visibility in AI-powered search engines like ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, and Google AI Overviews. We help brands understand how often they’re cited and recommended by AI models.

What is GEO (Generative Engine Optimization)?

GEO is the practice of optimizing content to appear in AI-generated responses. Similar to how SEO helps you rank in Google, GEO helps you get cited by AI assistants.

How is ClayHog different from SEO tools?

Traditional SEO tools track rankings in search engines like Google. ClayHog tracks how AI models cite and recommend your brand when answering questions. As more people use AI assistants instead of search engines, GEO becomes increasingly important.

We currently track:

Can I try ClayHog before paying?

Yes! We offer a 7-day free trial with limited features and ChatGPT-only tracking. No credit card required to start exploring ClayHog.

Can I cancel anytime?

Absolutely. Monthly subscriptions can be canceled anytime with no penalties. You’ll retain access until the end of your billing period.

Do you offer refunds?

All sales are final. We do not offer refunds for monthly or annual subscriptions. However, you can cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future charges.

Getting Started

How long does setup take?

Most users are up and running in under 10 minutes:

  1. Create account (2 min)
  2. Add your brand and website (2 min)
  3. Review AI competitor suggestions (2 min)
  4. Add prompts with AI or manually (3 min)
  5. Start tracking (instant)

What information do I need to get started?

Just your:

  • Brand name
  • Website URL

That’s it! ClayHog will guide you through competitor selection and prompt setup. You don’t need to prepare prompts in advance as our AI can generate them for you.

Do I need technical knowledge?

No technical knowledge required. ClayHog is designed for marketers, not developers. If you can use other marketing tools, you can use ClayHog.

Prompts and Tracking

How do I choose which prompts to track?

Focus on queries your target audience actually asks:

  • Questions about your product category
  • “Best [product type]” queries
  • Comparison queries including your brand
  • Problem-solution queries in your niche

Start with 5-10 high-value prompts and expand from there.

How often are prompts checked?

Prompts are checked:

  • Daily for active prompts

Is my data secure?

Who can see my data?

No tool can guarantee AI citations, just like no SEO tool can guarantee rankings. However, ClayHog helps you:

  • Member: Content creation and viewing
