Changelog

New updates and improvements to ClayHog.

Public share links for Scouts

You can now share any Scout with people outside your team using public links. Each link opens a read-only dashboard where anyone can view the Scout’s overview analytics, prompts, and citations without needing a ClayHog account. You control access with optional password protection, expiration dates, and the ability to enable or disable links at any time.

View tracking lets you see how many times each link has been opened and when it was last viewed. You can create multiple share links per Scout, each with its own settings, and revoke any of them instantly.

  • Generate shareable public links for any Scout from the Scout detail page
  • Optional password protection with session-based verification
  • Set expiration dates to auto-disable links after a certain time
  • Enable or disable individual links without deleting them
  • Read-only public dashboard with overview analytics, prompts, and citations
  • View count and last-viewed tracking for each shared link
  • Multiple share links per Scout, each with independent settings
  • Public pages work without authentication, scoped to your tenant

Content Creator: Storyblok page templates

The Content Creator now supports generating content based on your existing Storyblok page templates. Instead of starting from a blank outline, you can connect your Storyblok space, pick a story as a template, and let ClayHog extract the page structure automatically. The AI then generates an outline and content that matches your template’s component tree and field layout.

This means your generated articles follow the same structure as your existing pages, including nested blocks, rich text fields, and default field values. You can preview and edit the block-based content in the Content Creator before pushing it to Storyblok.

  • Connect your Storyblok space and browse stories to pick a template
  • Automatic extraction of page structure, components, and field defaults
  • AI-generated outlines that follow your template’s block layout
  • Block-based content preview and editing in the Content Creator
  • Field defaults from the template are preserved and merged into generated content
  • Push generated content back to Storyblok with correct component mapping
  • Streaming progress UI showing real-time generation status
  • Improved content pipeline with better GEO signal instructions and length presets

Keyword research and domain authority improvements

Topic Research now loads faster and gives you more control over results. The main view returns core stats and topics immediately, while additional tabs like Prompts, Brands & Sources, People Also Ask, and SERP analysis load on demand. You can choose from multiple keyword modes (auto, related, suggestions, ideas) and set result sizes up to 500 keywords.

A new Brands vs Sources breakdown identifies which domains appear most frequently across SERPs for your researched keywords, scored by position and featured snippet presence. Per-keyword SERP drill-down lets you inspect organic results for any individual keyword.

Domain Rank scores across the platform now use a standardized 0-100 scale, matching the industry-standard format. Existing domain rank values have been migrated automatically.

  • Tabbed lazy loading for Topic Research: Prompts, Brands & Sources, People Also Ask, and SERP analysis load on demand
  • Keyword modes: auto, related, suggestions, and ideas with configurable result limits (50, 150, 300, 500)
  • Brands vs Sources tab showing top domains across your keyword set with position scoring
  • Per-keyword SERP analysis drill-down with daily usage limits based on your plan
  • People Also Ask results with deeper click-through depth
  • Plan-based limits on saved topic researches per brand (trial: 1, classic: 8, pro: 15, business: 25)
  • Domain Rank now displayed on a 0-100 scale across the entire platform
  • Legacy domain rank values migrated automatically to the new scale

Swedish language support

The ClayHog interface is now available in Swedish. You can switch your UI language to Swedish from the settings page, and all navigation, labels, buttons, and system messages will display in Swedish.

  • Full Swedish (Svenska) translation for the entire UI
  • Switch languages from workspace settings
  • All feature pages, dashboards, and modals translated

New Content Creator with pipeline steps

The Content Creator now walks you through a guided pipeline before generating your article. Instead of going straight from prompt to finished content, you first review and edit an AI-generated outline that breaks down the structure, key talking points, and flow of your article.

The pipeline analyzes your prompt and citations, researches the topic, identifies important angles, and builds a structured outline you can customize. You can reorder sections, add or remove headings, tweak talking points, and adjust the scope before committing to a full generation. This gives you more control over the final output and reduces the need for heavy post-generation editing.

  • New outline generation step before content creation
  • Editable outline with drag-and-drop section reordering
  • Add, remove, or rename sections and subsections in the outline
  • Talking points and key angles surfaced per section
  • Choose content length (short, medium, long) before generating
  • Reference URL mode: generate content based on an external URL instead of a tracked prompt
  • Auto-generate flow from Content Opportunities and Cited Pages with one click
  • Six-step pipeline with real-time progress: analyzing prompt, researching topic, identifying talking points, optimizing for AI visibility, structuring sections, and building the outline

Improved Smart Content scoring

The Optimize tab in Content Creator now provides deeper content quality scoring powered by AI-analyzed signals. The system evaluates your article across multiple dimensions: use of statistics and data points, concrete examples, authority signals, balanced perspective, proper disclosure, and readability.

Each signal is scored individually so you can see exactly where your content is strong and where it needs work. The updated scoring feeds directly into actionable recommendations, and you can auto-optimize specific areas like readability, GEO signals, keywords, structure, or meta tags with a single click.

  • AI-powered content signal analysis: statistics, examples, authority, balanced tone, disclosure, and readability
  • Individual signal scores with clear pass/fail indicators
  • Auto-optimize with focus area selection (readability, GEO signals, keywords, structure, meta)
  • Keyword density analysis with heading placement tracking
  • Content score gauge combining SEO and GEO metrics into a single view
  • Accept or discard optimizations with side-by-side comparison
  • Meta description suggestions generated by AI

Smart Content: GEO analysis and topic authority

Smart Content now includes a dedicated GEO analysis tab that evaluates how well your article is positioned to be cited by AI platforms. The analysis covers topic authority scoring, E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness) signals, semantic keyword coverage, and AI-generated question-answer pairs you can add to your content.

Topic authority scoring shows how comprehensively your content covers the subject compared to what AI models look for when selecting sources. The system identifies gaps in your coverage and suggests specific improvements to increase your chances of being cited.

  • Topic authority score with coverage gap identification
  • E-E-A-T signal analysis with actionable recommendations
  • Semantic keyword suggestions based on AI search patterns
  • AI-generated Q&A pairs ready to insert into your content
  • Per-recommendation example generation showing how to apply each suggestion
  • Eight-step analysis pipeline with real-time progress tracking

Scouts: Scheduled AI monitoring

Organize and automate your AI visibility monitoring with Scouts. Each Scout runs a set of prompts against your chosen AI models on a schedule you control, whether that’s daily, weekly, or monthly.

You can create multiple Scouts per brand to separate monitoring by topic, campaign, or team. Every Scout has its own analytics dashboard with visibility scores, sentiment trends, citation tracking, and competitor data scoped to its prompts. When you add a new brand, a default Scout is created automatically with all AI models enabled. Read the full guide on how to organize AI monitoring with Scouts.

  • Create multiple Scouts per brand with independent prompt sets and AI model selections
  • Flexible scheduling: daily, weekly (pick the day), or monthly (pick the date)
  • Dedicated analytics dashboard per Scout with visibility, sentiment, and citation metrics
  • Citation tracking grouped by domain with expandable URL details
  • Move prompts between Scouts or back to the default Scout
  • Toggle Scouts active or inactive without losing configuration
  • Settings tab to update name, schedule, and AI models at any time

Accessibility and theming improvements

The theming system now supports a high-contrast light theme alongside the existing light and dark themes. The app automatically detects your operating system’s contrast preference and switches to the high-contrast theme when needed.

The settings page theme selector is now fully keyboard accessible with arrow key navigation and proper screen reader support. Focus indicators across all pages have been upgraded to be more visible and consistent.

  • New “Light - High Contrast” theme with stronger borders, deeper colors, and improved readability
  • Automatic high-contrast switching based on OS prefers-contrast: more setting
  • Theme selector uses ARIA radiogroup pattern with full keyboard navigation (arrow keys, Enter, Space)
  • Consistent focus indicators with visible 2px outlines across all interactive elements

  • Theme switcher in the sidebar now cycles through all three themes
