Managing Your Subscription
Viewing Your Plan
- Navigate to Billing
- View your current plan and features
- See next billing date
- Review usage statistics
Upgrading Your Plan
- Go to Billing
- Click Upgrade Plan
- Select your new plan
- Enter payment information
- Confirm upgrade
What happens when you upgrade:
- New features activate immediately
- Prorated credit for unused time
- No data loss
- All existing content remains
Downgrading Your Plan
- Navigate to Billing
- Click Manage subscription on LemonSqueeze
- Select a lower-tier plan
- Review what you’ll lose
- Confirm downgrade
What happens when you downgrade:
- Change takes effect at end of billing period
- Existing data preserved where possible
- May need to reduce prompts/brands/users
- Excess data archived (not deleted)
Canceling Your Subscription
- Go to Billing
- Click Manage subscription on LemonSqueeze
- Select cancellation reason (optional)
- Confirm cancellation
After cancellation:
- Account remains active until end of billing period
- Data retained for 30 days
- Can reactivate anytime during retention
- Enterprise customers: Contact support to export data before end of retention period

- Click Update Payment Method
- Enter new payment details
- Save changes

ClayHog never stores your complete payment information.
Usage Limits
Each plan has specific limits for prompts, brands, users, and data retention. Visit our pricing page to compare plan limits.
What happens when you hit a limit: You’ll need to upgrade your plan or remove existing items (prompts, brands, or users) to add new ones.
Data retention: Historical data beyond your plan’s retention period is archived but can be accessed if you upgrade to a higher plan.
Billing FAQ
When will I be charged?
You’re charged on your signup date each billing cycle. For example, if you sign up on January 15, you’ll be billed on the 15th of each month.
Can I change plans mid-cycle?
Yes. Upgrades are prorated and take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period.
What happens to my data if I downgrade?
Data is preserved but may become inaccessible if it exceeds your new plan limits. For example, if you have more prompts than your plan allows, the extra prompts are paused (not deleted) and can be reactivated if you upgrade again.
Do you offer refunds?
All sales are final. We do not offer refunds for monthly or annual subscriptions. However, you can cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future charges.
Can I try ClayHog before committing?
Yes! We offer a 7-day free trial with limited features and ChatGPT-only tracking. No credit card required to start exploring ClayHog.
What happens if payment fails?
If payment fails:
- You’ll receive an email notification
- We’ll retry payment in 3 days
- After 3 failed attempts, account is suspended
- You have 30 days to update payment before data deletion
Can I export my data?
Data export is available for Enterprise plan customers on demand. Contact your account manager to request a data export.
