ClayHog exists because we believe no brand should be invisible in AI search. That belief started with a frustration, and turned into a platform.
Co-founder
Product designer by background. Spent years working alongside marketing teams, building the tools and experiences they relied on every day. When AI search started reshaping how people discover brands, that experience shaped how we built ClayHog.
ClayHog started with content. We were writing about how to track and observe brand visibility across AI search, helping marketing teams understand what was happening inside ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, and Google AI Overviews.
The same question kept coming up: "Why does ChatGPT recommend our competitor but not us?" The more we tried to answer it, the clearer the gap became. Tools existed for tracking parts of AI visibility, but none of them connected the dots to an actual content workflow.
People stopped typing "best headless CMS 2026" into Google and started asking ChatGPT: "What headless CMS should I use for an enterprise e-commerce site with Next.js?" And they got one answer. Not ten blue links. One recommendation.
Over 830 million people use ChatGPT every week. Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, and Google AI Overviews are growing fast. Gartner predicts a 50% drop in traditional search traffic by 2028. The shift was not coming. It was already here.
There are tools out there that track parts of this. But from what we saw working with real marketing teams, the experience was fragmented. One tool to monitor mentions, another for analytics, another to act on it. The full picture was always stitched together from pieces.
We wanted to close that loop. Track visibility, understand why AI recommends what it does, and create content that improves your position. All in one place, designed around how marketing teams actually work.
ClayHog gives you one place to see how ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, and Google AI Overviews see your brand. Which prompts drive visibility. Why AI recommends your competitors. And what content to create to change that.
The full workflow: track your AI visibility, optimize with data-driven recommendations, and publish through integrations with headless CMS platforms. From insight to action, without switching between five tools.
Built for marketing teams who've mastered SEO and need to master what comes next. For agencies managing AI visibility across dozens of clients. For any brand that refuses to be invisible when customers ask AI for advice.
GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) should be built on data, not guesswork. We monitor AI queries at scale, track visibility patterns over time, and translate that into recommendations you can act on today.
Our product design roots show up here. Not just dashboards. Not just charts. Clear next steps you can take right now to show up where your customers are already looking.
We're bootstrapped. That means every feature we ship exists because a real user needed it. Our roadmap is shaped by the people who use ClayHog, and that will always come first regardless of how we grow.
The brands that figure out AI search now will own it for years. The window is open, but it won't stay open forever.
Whether you're an SEO team expanding into GEO, an agency scaling AI visibility for clients, or a marketing team that's done guessing, we'd love for you to try ClayHog.
